Originally from South Africa, Suanne started her career working in South African theatre and television. After being spotted by a US talent agent, she moved to Hollywood and spent 14 years living and working in Los Angeles. Selected highlights during this time, include Just Shoot Me (NBC) Wings (NBC)The West Wing (Live NBC), Stargate SG1 (ABC), FX-the series (The CW) Prowler, directed by Peter Bogdanovich (NBC) and hosting at the 68 th Academy Awards.
Since moving to the UK, Suanne has continued to work in film, television, and theatre. West End credits include Mamma Mia (Prince of Wales and Novello Theatre), Onassis (Novello) as well as Rufus Norris’ version of Cabaret. (No 1 UK tour). Theatre: The Cherry Orchard (Union Theatre),Vice-The Revenger’s Tragedy (Soho Theatre), Bernarda Alba (Union Theatre), Private Lives (Theatre On The Bay) Cougar The Musical (Coventry) and Sailing Somewhere (National Studio and Zedel).
Film and television credits include KAOS (Netflix), Better (BBC), The Princess Switch Trilogy (Netflix), Summer of Rockets (BBC), A Castle For Christmas (Netflix), The Last Warrior (Disney), Survivor (Millennium Film) and Girls Guide to Depravity (HBO). Additionally, Suanne is an accomplished voice over artist who has voiced multiple international campaigns and voices Sophie in the video game Dying Light 2 as well as several characters in The Devil In Me.

Trained at The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts Yvette’s credits in the UK include roles such as: Sally, in the European premiere of “Forget me Not” at the High Tide Festival for the Bush Theatre; Maddy in “ A Midsummers Song“ at The New Wolsey Theatre; Claire in “Bare” at The Union Theatre; Marguerite in “Marguerite” at The Tabard Theatre; Marion in Priscilla Queen Of The Desert at The Palace Theatre; Donna (alternate) in Mamma Mia! International Tour; Eva Peron (alternate) in Evita at the Adelphi Theatre, London; “Marian” in The original cast of “The Women In White “. At The Palace Theatre, London . Side By Side By Sondheim at the Gordon Craig Theatre; and Pearl, Dinah, Buffy and Ashley in Starlight Express (Bochum, Germany).
Yvette also performed in her native Australia in roles such as Julie Rooney in Jolson, at His Majestys Theatre Sydney; Factory Girl & Fantine in the 10th Anniversary Les Miserables; Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady and Mistress and alternate Evita at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Perth.
In Television, Yvette can be seen as Polly Posh in Cushion Kids (Nine Network, Australia) and voices for the animated series The Kosmos Kids (Wave Entertainment). Yvette played Nurse Heedy in the American film South Pacific (Touchstone) starring Glenn Close and Harry Connick Junior.
In 2016, Yvette became the female vocalist for the Jazz Pop Trio “Démodé Trio “ They can currently be seen performing in the UK and throughout Europe (www.demodetrio.com).
